What do you get when you combine 2 Malaysian directors with 4 Singapore directors; add 35 women performers from a wide range of ages, some professional and some from the community; mix a sprinkling of designers and production crew; with lots of water; all in 35 large urns? The result is Dream Country: A Lost Monologue, a unique and powerful performance in the outdoors of the Esplanade Park with the Singapore skyline as its backdrop. A special commission by the Singapore Arts Festival.
