SINGAPORE
NATIONAL DAY PARADE 2011
2011's birthday bash for Singapore took place on 9th August 2011 at the iconic Floating Platform on Marina Bay with a Musical on steroids. The show featured for the first time the use of digital projection mapping on a set-piece which was a 7 storey tall 'magic box' on the platform. This centre piece came alive with not only the projected visuals but it also incorporated performers on it. During the show, many large props emerged from it also, including an MRT train and a ship. In addition to the projection mapping of the set, the show also featured floor projection with PiGi projectors as well as the use of lasers to outline the cityscape which formed the dramatic backdrop to the show.
