A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, the Star Wars universe descended on Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. In celebration of international Star Wars Day, 'May the Fourth Be With You', a festival of Star Wars themed activities invaded the Super Tree Grove at the Gardens from 4th till 6th August 2017. The highlight of the celebrations is the Star Wars Rhapsody, which is the Star Wars edition of the Grove's daily Son et Lumiere. The 12-minute sound and light show culminates with the transformation of five of the Super Trees into 5 gigantic lightsabers, which we are calling the Saber Trees.
